I found a very nice wordpress plugin for a javascript called HighSlide. I have uploaded a few pictures from halloween and a 5k race to my pictures page. The script is so slick, I love it.

Yesterday I found a slick new theme for the blog called Pixelated.  I really like the look of it so far.  There’s a few things I obviously need to customize, but the formatting and options are excellent.

Trying to blog again for the 3rd time now. I will only update this site once every week or two. I’m 27 now and life has been moving by pretty fast. Dana and I have lived together for 3 months now, and it’s almost our 4 year anniversary. We are planning to go to Shed Aquarium in Chicago.

I’m “taking a break” from poker. This year I have cashed out $13,170 profit from pokerstars, the only site I play on. A pretty good year I suppose, but the time investment doesn’t feel worth it to me. Last year I cashed out $12,500. $1000/month is ok for a hobby, but certainly not great if I spend ~10 hours/week playing. I used my frequent player points to buy 3 tickets to the sunday million tournament ($215 buy in, top prize ~$200,000), which I’m looking forward to playing when I get a chance. Until then I’m not going to play any more online poker, and focus on websites for income.

My goal this year was to make $75,000. Right now I think I will be a little short of that goal, although I’m happy with how much I have saved this year. Next year my goal is to make $100,000 and I really think I will do it if I can just buckle down and build some quality websites with passive income.
