horrid day full of carddeadness and beats. Ran ultra shitty in satellites – in one I lost AA to J7o in a weird situation that cost me $100… went all in preflop for 6bbs and got called after another shortstack was all-in for less than 1 bb on the bubble. Later I lost AK to TT on the bubble of a $215 satellite, so that cost me another $100 in equity.

Also played the tcoop triple stud and a swedish fish on tilt raised my ep open in stud with A38 no suits. I had 47Jddd and the rest of the players cards looked crappy so I went for a steal. He ended up hitting an ace on 5th and had 47J99 with 4 diamonds and we got all in. I was about a 57% favorite to have a 25k stack but whiffed. Really frustrating. The same player also called my ep raise of 743 in razz with 962 and I ended up making 3 pair. Just one of those days I guess….

Finished 3rd in a $16.50 plo mtt out of 191 players. Grinded a bunch of other omaha games and did well.

Unfortunately I can’t say the same for NL games. I ran really badly in satellites and in the $82 tcoop big antes. In that I had triple the starting stack and a russian donk shoved 13bbs utg with A2o. A good player called off his 13bbs in mp with JJ and I called in the big blind with KK. Obviously A2o wins and I was shortstacked. I waited patiently and found TT in mp only to run into QQ in the blinds. Ugh.

ran pretty well in omaha games, winning 2 satellites, 4th in the $8 6max, and a cash in the 2euro game. I played a bunch of other satellites and I won a few, but no big scores. Played a ton of $7 HU hyper turbo SNG’s and I have done very well at those so far. Only played 60 of them, but I’m winning at a good rate so far even though I’ve made a few mistakes.

managed a sunday million satellite win by playing super patient, even folding down to 3.5bbs at one point. Deep runs in all my plo games, even though I had pretty bad luck in some of them. I got 9th in the $11 turbo PLO final table only paid. I had about 2nd place chips with 12 guys left… at this point I’m of course raising a wide range. I manage to lose or tie the following in a row to bust: 40%, 50%, 40%, 72% (tie), 40%, 50%, 70% (tie), 50%. Basically 6 flips and two 70%s in a row to bust 9th. It was pretty ridiculous considering winning any of those hands would have knocked out a player, even the last one would have put the guy at almost zero chips.

Got about 16th out of 1200 in the $1 3xrebuy turbo NL Omaha but I lost a 58%, 65%, and 45% in a row to bust unfortunately. I was also pretty carddead late game not getting any AA, KK or Axxx double suited. I was forced to make marginal shoves with JJxx and AJT9 type hands which I wasn’t really happy about.

Started off running insanely bad as that seems to be the new normal for me. Managed to book a few small cashes and lose huge flips to bust out of most tourneys. Ended up flopping a set twice when someone had a bigger set for massive pots. Ran deep in a sunday million satellite when a total fish min raised the button and I shoved 7.5bbs with A8s and he called with 57s and won. If I hit that hand I had a very good shot at winning the satty because there were 16 left and 8 paid. I was in about 11th so I needed to take a shot, unfortunately the fish hit the river. At this point I was down about $170 and started registering for $2.50/180s. Managed to run bad in all of them except one that I ended up winning, though not without taking some really dumb beats. The players at the final table played SUPER TIGHT but then had bouts of random spew, calling huge raises with 65s, K6o, and K7s. It was really bizarre because the players were not even raising into 2bb shortstacks yet calling big raises and 3bets with K6o and 65s.

played some hu hyper sngs and managed to beat a guy 8 times in a row. He was one of the worst players I have ever played against.

Had a nice day today. 1st in a 2.5/180, 13th in a $2r, won a sunday million satellite and made some other cashes. Ran above ev for the first time in many weeks. Although I still took plenty of beats for huge pots, or had situations where a player couldn’t fold K9o preflop to my 15bb shove, and I lose, etc.

back tuesday to grind and take a few shots at the tcoop.

I haven’t been playing much poker really. Mostly 45mans and small tournaments. I have been running bad so it’s no surprise I’m just breaking even. Tried some sunday million satellites and got deep in one then had 77 < 66 on a gross Q987T board all in preflop. The usual absurd stuff. This month my ev is 12.24bb/100 and actual bb is 8.88/100. chip winnings -488,000 ev chip winnings +426,000.

Rather than playing poker I've applied for a few jobs and been working out a lot. I tried the "insanity" workout program, and it really is insane. My muscles have never been so sore after just two workouts.

played another quick session. 1st in a mixed hold em/omaha and 3rd in a $7/45 after taking a beat. Ran well today at omaha for sure. Felt like I played in the zone more, made fewer mistakes, good laydowns, and well timed bluffs.

Today I wasn’t planning on doing any grinding but I forgot to unregister for the sunday storm. Ended up min-cashing in that after losing a flip. To keep from being bored to death, I registered for a few plo tourneys. At 4 or 5 points during the tournament I was down to 8-12 big blinds. One player kinda laughed at me for folding down so low and said “you can’t get far on that stack.”. I just said “we’ll see.”

going to try grinding 45mans to reduce the variance of the 180s. And also keep playing small mtts until my roll is 2k.

another -75k chips under ev, AA lost 40% of the 13 times I had it today, including a nice AA vs AK all in preflop loss. total chips under ev this month -750k, last month -750k. Made it deep in a ton of games then either took a beat, lost a flip, or got coolered KK < AA etc. Rarely got my money in bad the whole day.

Decided to take a break then play some omaha. Ran -$60 below ev.

Just can’t seem to have a day where I have normal luck. Not sure what the deal is.

I have been playing really well, eating healthy, going to the gym. In fact I’m probably in the best shape I’ve been in for several years.
