Well the last few days were kind of breakeven and frustrating, but I completed my December goal. Today I was just trying to get to goldstar and grind through 500 vpps. Took longer than I expected and I tried to play some PLO to get there faster. Of course I ran $300 below EV which sucked. Just kept getting my money in insanely good but losing. $190 pot at $50 PLO with 72% on the turn all the money in the middle on the turn and I lose. That one was the most frustrating. I’m now -$700 below expected value on PLO for the year.

Here is my december MTT/SNG graph. I’m very happy with the results. Next month’s goal is over 1000 games and over $7500 profit.

Finished 2nd in a $12 180 today and only played 13 tournaments in my session so a nice profit. +4589 on the month so just a few more sessions and I should hit my 5k goal.

My goal for 2010 is +100k. I will make a new post about the specifics of how I intend to accomplish this goal after the holidays.

Won a $12 180 and finished 3rd in another. Felt like i played nearly perfectly in both. Made a few minor mistakes, but did the best I could in both. Got deep in a ton of other games and made a few min cashes. +700 on the day and +4300 for the month.

Lost about $50 today. Started off great, getting to a final table of a 180man, but then lost a coinflip. This continued to happen in virtually every tournament I played. Get deep, take a beat or lose a coinflip. People have been calling me insanely light which just gets so frustrating when I never win the flip. Guys have been snap calling me with Q-10, A-2, K-J, etc. It’s incredibly frustrating when I feel like I’m not winning my fair share of flips.

Up about 3600 in tourneys this month, but I’m not sure if I can hit the 5k goal with Christmas and family time coming up. Likely I will only have one or two days left in the month that I can grind. Hopefully tomorrow goes better. Time to watch the last episode of The Shield.

Put in another 2 hour session just now and I played pretty much perfectly but the cards didn’t fall perfectly. Finished deep in a $16.50 turbo, losing AQ to QQ then KK to AT so that sucked.

I finished 3rd and 5th in two $3 rebuy 180mans. I love these things, there are just so many fish and terrible players late game it’s incredible. 1st is always around $500 and there are almost never any regs in these so they’re pretty much a goldmine.

Finished the day +$500ish. Made up for my last two days of beats. Hopefully tomorrow goes just as well.

Took the weekend off to get some random stuff done, watch the shield, and go see Avatar in 3-d. Amazing visuals, pretty good movie. I’d give it a 9/10. The 3-d experience it completely worth it – everything just looks phenomenal. This is one of those movies that you should see in the theater before it’s gone. There’s no way any home viewing experience is even close to watching it on an IMAX screen in 3-d.

Won another 180man today, although I felt I should have done better in my other tournaments. I got super lucky twice in the 180 man I won though. But of course in the games I lost I just took super sick beats AA < AQ, KK < KT, etc. etc. The last game I played I shoved A-5 in the sb on the bubble and the bb calls off his healthy stack with 4-5! And of course wins, then later he gets all in with me with AQ vs. my AA and I lose again. Both pots were nearly 20k on the bubble in the 180man so I got 19th. It’s not even frustrating, it’s just plain stupid.

I played some more tourneys today after the 180man win but ran terribly.  Lost 70% and 80%’s deep for massive pots / 1st place chips, etc. Oh well nothing I can do.  I ran hot at the start of my session and bad at the end.  Tomorrow should be good.  Today I made $634, and I’m up $3,333 on the month.

Today I won another 180man.  I definitely ran awesome at the final table.  After getting down to just 10k at 1500/3000 blinds I won a few coinflips to get back in it.  Then managed to suck out with K-8 suited vs QQ to get heads up.   Won a long battle that ended with my K-T > T-9 on a 10-5-4 flop.

Also finished 4th in a 180 and I’ve gone super deep in a bunch of other tourneys.  I will post a daily graph soon because today is going to be a huge day.

Not much to post.  I worked on my websites for a few hours then played poker from 10am until 1:45pm.  Lost a ton of coinflips and awful beats deep in tourneys.  Then ran phenomenally well in one $12/180 and won it.  Finished the session +$392.   Good day

Decent day, finished up $266 after being down over $400.  I was just taking gross beats and running into huge pairs for 4 hours straight.  I took a break and played some more tourneys with a better mindset and finally got my share of the luck.

Up ~$2400 on the month so far.
